Greenfield, Indiana – Browning Investments, Inc. announced today the completion of the new global headquarters of Elanco Animal Health, a division of Eli Lilly and Company, located at I-70 and S.R. 9 in Greenfield, Indiana. 

Browning in their role as Developer and General Contractor constructed the three building campus totaling 129,600 square feet including 14,000 square feet of lab space, a credit union and cafeteria.  Elanco’s headquarters is the first project in Progress Park.  “We are pleased with the outcome of this attractive and efficient facility for Elanco.  We anticipate the addition of more than 300 Elanco employees in the park will spur more development in the near future”, states Dale Pfeifer, Director of Real Estate Development at Browning.

Progress Park is a 52 acre business and life sciences park being developed by Browning.  The park is fully entitled and features ready to build sites available from as small as 1.5 acres up to 7.81 acres.  The park, when completed, could accommodate up to 400,000 square feet of business space.

The City of Greenfield was responsible for construction of the roads and infrastructure relating to the park, including widening of S.R. 9 and constructing turn lanes into the park. “The City of Greenfield is excited to have Elanco as part of our business community.  We look forward to maintaining a strong and beneficial partnership to grow Elanco and Greenfield.  We will continue to provide support to ensure the success of Elanco’s Corporate Headquarters in our community and the world.  This type of growth is exciting as Greenfield diversifies its economic base to include life sciences as well as manufacturing.   We feel confident that Elanco’s presence will also be the catalyst for further development in Progress Park and the surrounding area.”  stated Greenfield Mayor Brad DeReamer.
